YOLANDITA MONGE covers Sanremo-entries & other Italian songs
Puerto Rican diva Yolandita Monge covers on her 1995 album "Yolandita" various Italian songs including some Spanish versions of entries from Sanremo:
"Cuando nacen amores" - Anna Oxa's "Quando nasce un amore" from 1988,
"Tu, tu, tu, tu" from Alessandro Canino (1993),
"Sueños por quien" - Mietta's "Figli di chi" from 1993,
"Vete mi amor" - "Vattene amore" from Mietta & Amedeo Minghi (1990).
This album includes also "Notte rosa" from Umberto Tozzi ("Noche rosa") & Francesca Alotta's "Batticuore" as "Tu volveras".
Yolandita Monge has also covered Marcella Bella's "Problemi" in 1983 as "Siempre tu", "Quando finisce un amore" from Riccardo Cocciante in 1988 as "Cuando termina un amor" & Franco Fasano's "Anch'io" in 1999 as "Prohibido".
Yolandita is also the mother of singer Noelia - remember "Candela"?
