French singer Hervé Vilard has recorded some coverversions of Sanremo-entries:
"Io ti darò di più" from 1966 by Ornella Vanoni / Orietta Berti (when each song was performed by 2 different singers) as "Il faut croire en demain",
Loretta Goggi's "Maledetta primavera" from 1981 as "Va pour l'amour libre",
Riccardo Fogli's winning entry "Storie di tutti i giorni" from 1982 as "La vie est belle, le monde est beau",
Toto Cutugno's "L'Italiano" from 1983 as "Méditerranéenne" (see coverphoto & and watch the clip:
Pupo's "Un amore grande" (which was originally thought for Loretta Goggi) as "Amore grande"(despite the title it's sung in French).
Hervé also recorded French versions of non-Sanremo-songs by Gianni Morandi, Anna Oxa, Edoardo Vianello, Jimmy Fontana, Domenico Modugno, Bruno Lauzi, Lucio Battisti & Toto Cutugno.
